Essex Business School, Anglia Ruskin University and Essex County Council are hosting a discussion on what it means to ‘be’ Essex on 27 March, in Colchester. The day will focus on various aspects of the Essex Girl/Boy stereotype, and how it impacts upon our social and working lives.

Hear from academics and authors who have written about Essex stereotypes, speakers include Syd Moore (author) Ros Green (Director, Essex Book Festival), Jodie Halford (BBC Journalist), Dr Theresa Simpkin (academic and Essex Girl) and participate in discussion groups.
