Faith Covenant to unite partners on isolation at OPFCC Conference

Essex County Council and the Church of England will be collaborating and leading a workshop at the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner’s Partnerships Conference on the 15th March 2018.

The workshop will offer the more than 200 conference delegates from across the public, community and voluntary sector an opportunity to learn more about, and contribute to, the development of the Essex Faith Covenant.

The Essex Faith Covenant aims to guide, promote engagement and knowledge sharing between faith communities and public services as well as bringing people together to serve the community.

Delegates at the partnerships conference will be asked to think about what they can do to develop collective activity that supports the work of the covenant, focusing on the joint theme of tackling isolation and disadvantage across the pilot areas of Basildon, Braintree, Colchester and Chelmsford.
