Soft market testing workshop
On 10 January Essex Partners invited potential leadership programme suppliers to participate in shaping our vision for our next leadership programme.
Building upon the successes of the inaugural Greater Essex Leadership Collaborative programme we are keen to develop a second programme that further drives us toward developing a leadership culture that is underpinned by innovation and focused on the whole system.
Potential suppliers heard from Gavin Jones, Chief Executive, Essex County Council, and Stephen Kavanagh, Chief Constable, Essex Police, who shared our vision for whole system leadership in Essex. Gavin and Stephen recently collaborated on an article that explored their approach to leadership and the need for new skills, new mindsets, and new ways of working to enable public sector organisations across Essex to respond in a meaningful way to new issues. The article, published in the MJ, is available to read here.
Richard Puleston, Director of Corporate Strategy, Essex County Council also provided potential suppliers in attendance, with information regarding the services we require, how the programme might be managed and how we expect to tender for the contract. The workshop also provided potential suppliers with an opportunity to ask questions and speak to members of the project team regarding these issues. Potential suppliers seeking further contact with the project team can email firstname.lastname@example.org please note we are required to share any response to your correspondence with all potential suppliers.
