An inclusive approach to recovery
Futures In Mind is a service designed for people from across Essex who are looking for support with recovery from mental health problems and/or substance and alcohol misuse.
Commissioned by Essex County Council Futures In Mind has been co-produced with service users.
Futures In Mind is a partnership of Phoenix Futures, Mind in West Essex and North Essex Mind. It offers an inclusive approach to recovery and with that come great opportunities for people to develop skills, meet like minded people, build confidence, gain qualifications and make further positive changes to improve their quality of life.
Services include, peer led activities via community groups and organised activities, befriending, mentoring, volunteering and training for individuals in recovery from substance and alcohol misuse and/or poor mental health.

Mind in West Essex are looking for volunteers to help with befriending the elderly to reduce social isolation.
You can make a real difference to other people’s wellbeing by giving just an hour to help someone feel included in their community.
